Kent Lakin is Director and Lead Trainer at KML Secure. With more than 20 years' experience across the military, security and custodial sectors, he delivers practical, real‑world insight to every training programme. He served for 12 years in the British Army, including five years as a team medic, followed by eight years in close protection and two years as a prison officer. Over the past four years he has delivered SIA training and first aid instruction, supporting individuals to develop the skills and confidence required in critical situations. The training he provides is practical, engaging and, importantly, enjoyable. We believe participants learn most effectively when actively involved, relaxed and motivated; this approach is applied to every session, with measurable outcomes.
